Recipes Bacon Wrapped Smokeys
Bacon Wrapped Smokeys with Brown Sugar Smokey Glaze
Cut the bacon strips in thirds. We found that is a good length to allow some overlap for the size sausage we had, but feel free to adjust it as needed. Cut the smoked sausages about the same length as the width of the bacon strips. We have seen some pictures where the sausages are sticking out on the sides, but we feel it dries out too much when it’s cooked with the bacon. We put these on a skewer and drizzled them with Jim’s Own Sauce Smokey. Then bake them in the oven at 350F for 10-15 minutes depending on how crispy you like your bacon. We love the way the brown sugar makes a crusty glaze on these delicious little bites.
