Bread and Butter Pudding with Cranberries

This is for me the ultimate comfort food dessert. It is perfect for winter and it super easy to make. I have made this countless times and everyone has LOVED it!! Give it a go and let us know what you think.

1 white bread, crusts cut off
2 sticks butter
1 jar apricot jam
1 cup dried cranberries
1 cup milk
1 can condensed milk
2 eggs

Heat oven to 350F/180C.

Soften butter and spread liberally on both sides of the bread slices. Butter an ovenproof dish and put a layer of bread slices in the bottom. Spread with apricot jam and sprinkle with cranberries. Add more layers the same way. Mix milk, condense milk and egg well and pour mixture over the bread layers. Bake in oven for 35 min until brown on top. Serve with ice cream, cream or egg custard.
