Recipes Chicken Teriyaki

Crock Pot Chicken Teriyaki

The preparation time for this dish is only 15 minutes! Our Jim’s Own Sticky Q pairs beautifully with the soy sauce to give the chicken a sweet, savory flavor that goes so well with jasmine rice or noodles. We like to mix up a little fresh sauce to stir into the meal in the crockpot just before serving, as the longer cooking time cooks away some of the fragrant notes of this dish. Stir fry veggies makes a wonderful side for the chicken.

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 3 – 4 hours (high) or 6-8 hours (low)
Yield: 4 servings

1 lb. chicken, sliced
4 oz. mushrooms, sliced (optional)

2 tbsp. corn starch
2 tbsp. Jim’s Own Sauce Sticky Q (for serving)
1 tsp. soy sauce (for serving)
1 tbsp. mixed sesame seeds

Directions
Place chicken and sliced mushrooms in bottom of crock pot.

Then in a separate bowl whisk together remaining ingredients except cornstarch and sesame seeds.

Sprinkle over sesame seeds.

Serve over rice or noodles and stir fry veggies.
